Waking up in the middle of the night in a panic, racing thoughts and not being able to stop overthinking things can be exhausting. It can feel like anxiety is a never-ending cycle which never stops. Things can be different if you have the tools to know how to manage them.
If you have tried counselling before and it didn’t work, what makes my approach different? I use the Human Givens model because it makes sense to me. The approach is brief, practical and effective at helping people return to a healthy and sustainable mindset and lifestyle. Often, all it takes is 3 or 4 sessions for things to change for the better, which is why there will never be any need to book multiple sessions at one time.
We won’t keep talking about what you have been through before, which means you don’t need to keep going over difficult memories. I won’t keep asking you how you feel, leaving you with no way to cope with it, nor will I just sit and listen, expecting you to pour out your deepest thoughts unless that is what you would like to happen. We will look at what is working in your life, ways you can help yourself to move forward and things you can do to cope when challenges arise in the future.

How much will a session cost?
Each session is £60, which is payable after the session. There is no long-term commitment or upfront cost; we will book sessions at your pace.
