A trauma can be a one off event or a series of events that are emotionally disturbing or life-threatening.  Often the effects are long lasting adverse and impact on the individual’s functioning. It can affect their mental, physical, social, emotional, and/or spiritual well-being.

The events or events may have happened in the past and have an ongoing effect on the way people behave.  It may cause them to avoid things, react in certain ways, and struggle with their sleep for example.  The effects can be long lasting.  We use a quick effective technique to manage trauma so it no longer a pauses the same emotional response.  It will become an unpleasant memory rather than a memory which causes someone to be constantly triggered.  This will help the person to return to a more normal way of life..
