What happens when we are anxious or depressed?
When experiencing anxiety or depression a person will spend a lot of time in dreaming sleep which will exhaust the brain. When they wake up they will then feel exhausted and lack motivation. They will either typically sleep too much or wake in the early hours of the morning.
